Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 Star Rrahul Sudhir Talks About The Time When He Had Decided To Quit Acting & Head Back To Dehradun

Television’s new heartthrob Rrahul Sudhir became a household name after the success of his daily soap Ishq Mein Marjawan 2. The actor who plays a business tycoon on the show opposite Helly Shah was once on the verge of quitting the entertainment world entirely before the show happened.

Talking about what influenced his decision to pack his bags and leave Rrahul told Mid-Day, “Right before I was offered Ishq Mein Marjawan, I was packing my bags to leave Mumbai. I was contemplating what my next step will be once I head back home to Dehradun. While I had faced dejection earlier too, it had never left me [defeated]. But this time, I was sure I didn’t want anything to do with acting. I went to Goa for a holiday when I got a call from the creative director for this show and I insisted on playing Vansh.”

Rrahul growing fan base will surely be thankful to the makers from preventing him from quitting showbiz entirely. Talking about Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 Rrahul also commented on the much talked about scene from the show which went viral where his co-star Helly Shah gets locked in a suitcase. The scene was a subject of many memes but certainly brought a lot of attention to the show.

“We often laugh about it so that we don’t feel the humiliating aspect of it. When I first read the scene, for the first 10 minutes, I kept re-reading it to ensure I was reading it right. Then, Helly and I had a good laugh about it. I had a blast when we shot the sequence where I am talking to the entire family while she is in the suitcase with only her finger jutting out,” the actor quipped.

Ishq Mein Marjawan airs on Colors and is one of the most popular shows on the channel.
