Kaala Teeka Actress Dalljiet Kaur Says She Is More Prepared Than Ever To Get Married!

It had been almost four and a half years that Dalljiet Kaur shocked her fans by announcing her separation with then-husband Shaleen Bhanot. She had just become a mother and had even bid goodbye to her flourishing TV career soon after marriage. The decision meant that she would have to rebuild herself.

And now, Dalljeit and established herself, once again and is all set to enter the show, Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega as the protagonist’s husband’s first wife who returns back from coma. The actress, while talking about her role to TOI, has also given a significant insight to her personal life and has revealed that she might soon get married once again. Talking about marriage, the TV actress said,

“I want to get married and it will happen soon. My parents are looking for Mr. Right. I have also been meeting a couple of guys. But it is a little different this time. Now I have a huge responsibility, I am a mother first and then I will be a wife. It will be the other way round.”

She also revealed that now she has been looking for stability and would therefore not get married to someone from the same industry.

“I am very humbled that good men are approaching me. I got quite a few offers from actors, but the guy will not be from the industry. This doesn’t mean that I look down upon it, I am from the same fraternity. But right now, I am looking for stability so he will probably be a businessman, someone who is well settled. I am looking for a good, respectable family and not someone who is still experimenting, because I think woh age chali gayi hai.” 

In fact, talking about her readiness, she said,

 “I am more prepared than ever. Earlier, I used to chicken out. But now, I am looking forward to this new phase.”

This readiness might also be because of the fact that she feels that her 5-year-old son, Jaydon, needs a father figure in his life and she really wants to give him that.

“I got separated and moved out when he wasn’t even one. He doesn’t remember living with Shaleen. They only meet once in a while. Although Shaleen has been very respectful, we don’t meet him that often. I am the one dropping Jaydon, picking him up, he travels with me. There is a huge void definitely. My son keeps talking about his friends and their fathers and he misses that companionship. I think he is prepared to have a father now.”
