Karan Patel Lashes Out Against The Discrimination Between Film And TV Actors, Pens A Powerful Post

Whether its TV or films, the love that our stars get from the audience is truly rare. And, when it comes to loving our actors, audiences rarely differentiate between TV and films. From Dr. Armaan in Dill Mill Gayye, Abhi in KumKum Bhagya, Raman Bhalla in Yeh Hai Mohabbatein to  Anurag in Kasautii Zindagii Kay (reboot), these characters and the actors playing them have been loved by us as much as any Bollywood star.

However, when it comes to the film industry, a lot of TV actors have complained, refuses to take TV actors seriously. Karan Patel, who has been one of the most popular faces of TV for quite some time now addressed the same issue in a heartfelt social media post.

He reminded people how the job of a TV actor is not easy and in fact, a lot of them are more popular than the new crop of an actor both in terms of reach and social media fandom.

We cannot disagree that Karan indeed has a point but we are also glad that the likes of Sushant Singh Rajput, Vikrant Massey, Mrunal Thakur, and Radhika Madan are smashing this unfair stereotype and are not only becoming fan favorites but are also being considered some of the most respected actors  of this generation in the industry.
