Karan Singh Grover To Not Return As Mr. Bajaj In Kasautii Zindagii Kay As The Makers Prepares To Resume Shoot?

The TV industry is slowly resuming work under the nation’s first phase of unlock. Several shows are getting their sets ready for the cast to shoot but with precautions. The makers want to leave no stop unturned in ensuring the safety of the cast and crew therefore sets are also being sanitized.

News is that three of Ekta Kapoor’s big shows will resume work on June 26 including Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Kumkum Bhagya and Naagin 5. But now it seems that there is a bigger hurdle for the resumption of Kasautii and that is Karan Singh Grover’s unwillingness to return.

"It is well known that KSG's entry in the show led to a steep rise in the show's TRP and that was one of the reasons why Bajaj's track was introduced earlier this year. However, KSG won't be returning as Mr. Bajaj as of now. He is very much concerned about the ongoing pandemic in the country and is not too keen on returning," claims a source close to the entertainment portal Pinkvilla.

The report by the portal also states that the makers are busy convincing the actor to return. Meanwhile, earlier the show’s lead Erica Fernandes too had claimed that she’s not yet ready to resume work.

We hope that Ekta Kapoor will be able to assure these stars of their safety else the fate of the popular daily soap will hang in the balance.
