    Kausauti Zindagi Kay was one of the most iconic shows in the year 2001. Anurag and Prerna’s love story was truly adored by the audience and the show lasted for about 7 years. Overwhelmed by the audience’s response, Ekta Kapoor decided to make a comeback with Kausauti Zindagi Kay 2 in 2018 after almost a span of 10 years with Parth Samthaan as Anurag Basu and Erica Fernandes as Prerna Sharma in the lead.

    The show took a great start initially and received an eminent response from the audience. Parth and Erica along with the other actors in the show did a commendable job in recreating the characters. However, this time the show wasn’t as successful as the original season.

    The makers have decided to shelve Kausati Zindagi Kay 2 after telecasting it for almost 2 years. Recently, The actors have shot their last scenes and are all emotional as the show is going off-air on Oct 3.

    In an Interview, Pooja Banerjee who played Nivedita Basu shared her experience with SpotBoye as she talked about her role in the show. Pooja reveals, how much she will miss being Nivedita.

    The actress said, "I am really going to miss my entire team of Kasautii Zindagii Kay. I will also miss being sassy Nivedita Basu and especially draping Nivi style sarees. My team who helps me to get into the attire has been teary-eyed from the past 5-6 days. My hairstylist, makeup artist, costume and jewelry team always gave their best and went out of their way to make my look stand out and I will always be thankful to them for this." The entire team of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 is close to each other and Pooja said that she will stay connected with each one of them. She said, "I will keep meeting my cast so that way I am a little relieved." 

    Pooja Banerjee’s on-screen husband Anupam Sengupta was supposed to leave the show way before the show was decided to end but the latter decided to finish the last sequence. Anupam recently came up to shoot for the last episode. 

    In an interview with Spotboye, the actor spoke about whether he wanted to leave the show even before it was decided to go off-air, he said, I wanted to quit Kasautii because I had other projects coming up, and my track wasn’t resuming. But my new project got pushed to a later date, and I received a call from the makers to come back for the last track. So, I thought why not. I did get to know that it’s going off-air. This show is actually very close to my heart. We’ve all become like a family now. It’s one memory that will always stay with me."
