Kasautii Zindagii Kay: Hina Khan Reacts To Aamna Sharif Playing Komolika, Says Letting Go Of The Character Was Difficult!

Even after Hina Khan had bid goodbye to Kasautii Zindagi Kay, fans had always wished and anticipated her return to the show.  But now, it has confirmed that Hina would not be returning on the show and that Aamna Sharif would play the new Komolika. In fact, Ekta has taken the old route itself, of plastic surgery, to bring in Aamna as the new Komolika in the show.

Hina Khan, in an interview with a leading daily, opened up about her reaction on seeing Aamna as Komolika. Talking to the daily, she said,

"Aamna Sharif, I mean what to say about her yaar. She is beautiful, gorgeous and she is a fabulous actor. We have all seen her in Kahinn Toh Hoga. I have not seen her in negative space, imagine I am talking about this (laughs). This is what people used to say about me. I am damn sure she is going to kill it."

She also said that she had added her own swag to the character and letting the character go was difficult for her.

"The brief that I was given was that this Komolika is different. I had to add my own tadka, my own flavour to the character. If I had to define that flavour there's only one word that comes to my mind, is Swag, so that's what I have added to the character of Komolika. "

Talking about the makers, she said that Ekta had actually waited for her for a long time and even before finalising Aamna, she had a chat with Hina to get a final confirmation,

“ I have given my heart and soul to whatever I have done in my career. Whether I have done it for 8 years or for 6 months. Komolika I did for six months and I gave my best. That's the reason I got both Best actor Popular and Jury, I have hardly seen it happening. I was so overwhelmed when it happened. I do miss the character as I said I had put in a lot of effort. Whatever happens, happens for a reason. I have no time and they immediately have to start shooting for the show. My dates are full till November first week. They waited for so long is such a huge thing. The way Ekta has been so graceful. I am so overwhelmed by her gestures.”

It has been an emotional moment for fans as well we guess. Now we can only wait and see how Aamna Sharif pulls off this twisted character!
