Kasautii Zindagii Kay: Karan Singh Grover Left The Show Because Of This Reason?

For the past few days, one news that has been doing the rounds is of Karan Singh Grover leaving Kasautii Zindagii Kay. The actor had temporarily bid goodbye to the show and was back in February this year. However, India soon went to a lockdown with shoots stalled. It was being said that the shoot for Kasautii would resume by 26^th June and therefore, Karan thought of not rejoining and bidding adieu to the show, due to the coronavirus scare. But now, it seems like that had not been the case.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, the real reason why KSG left the show is quite different. The portal quoted a source saying, “The actor was not happy with the way Mr Bajaj's character was been portrayed on the show. It is well known that Mr Bajaj's character in the first part was predominantly positive and was etched much better and was one of the leading ones. Here he felt the character was unnecessarily been portrayed grey and lacked depth. Moreover, it was being treated like a supporting character which had already upset him. Right now, he is discussing with the team to possibly have the character etched out better.”

Well, there are names of stars coming up who might replace him as Mr. Bajaj in Kasautii. Apparently, Sharad Kelkar and Gaurav Chopra have been approached to replace karan Singh Grover.
