Kasautii Zindagii Kay: Sharad Kelkar Also Approached To Replace Karan Singh Grover As Mr. Bajaj?

Karan Singh Grover had created ripples when he had decided to make a comeback to TV with Kasautii Zindagi Kay. The actor, who was also a part of the original, had essayed the role of Mr. Bajaj in the show. He had temporarily bid adieu to it, only to return in February. But looks like he would be quitting it this time, after the show resumes shoot late this month. While Ekta Kapoor and Karan is yet to make the official announcement, the makers are already looking for an actor to replace KSG.

Yesterday, rumours were doing the round that Gaurav Chopraa has been approached for the show, but today, it seems that Sharad Kelkar too is in the run to bag the role. According to a report in Pinkvilla, the actor had been approached to replace KSG as Mr. Bajaj. The portal also quoted a source saying, "Sharad received a call for the role and currently the discussions are going on. Nothing has been locked so far and even Kelkar is mulling over the same. Things will be locked by this weekend and till then, the makers are weighing their options." In fact, Sharad’s spokesperson also confirmed the same!

Well, Gaurav Chopraa too seemed to have been approached. When he was asked about the same, he had told Spotboye, “I can't comment right now as things are still under discussion. Let things come from Balaji Telefilms. Then, me giving out a statement will make sense.”
