KBC 13: Akshay Kumar reveals he sold kundan jewelry before becoming an actor; Katrina aces Big B's Agneepath dialogue

Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s Sooryavanshi will soon be arriving in theatres as promised. The actors are busy with the promotions of the film which has been delayed in its arrival by 19 months due to the pandemic. Akshay and Katrina graced the sets of Amitabh Bachchan’s Kaun Banega Crorepati 13 to play for a charitable cause and will feature on the Diwali special episode of the quiz show this Friday.

The KBC 13 episode with the stars no doubt will be packed with entertainment and fans will no doubt walk away with some new knowledge about Akshay and Katrina too. Like did you know Akshay before entering Bollywood had entered the jewelry business where would sell Kundan jewelry brought from Delhi in Mumbai?

“I used to sell Kundan jewellery. I used to purchase it from Delhi for about Rs 7,000 to Rs 10,000 and would come to Mumbai to sell it, which would help me earn a profit of Rs 11,000 to 12,000. I did this for about 3 to 4 years," Akshay told Amitabh when the superstar asked the Sooryavanshi about his journey.

It is a well-known fact that Akshay has also dabbled with being a chef and a martial arts teacher before he became an actor.

Katrina, on the other hand, surprised us by mimicking Amitabh Bachchan as she recited his iconic Agneepath perfectly. The star can be seen telling the audience after Katrina’s act, “Humare paet pe laat maar diya.”

The episode will air on Diwali day.
