Krushna Abhishek Reacts To Rumours Of Rift With Kiku Sharda After Latter's Jibe On His Strained Relationship With Govinda

The Kapil Sharma Show may be a comedy platform but is certainly not unknown to tiffs and controversies. Therefore, when rumours went wild that all is not well between the two most promising comics of the show, Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda, it naturally became a cause of concern.

The rumours of Krushna and Kiku’s tiff caught wind after an episode where Sara Ali Khan and Varun Dhawan graced the show to promote their film Coolie No. 1. Kiku in his act with Krushna, where they played Dharmendra and Sunny on stage, took a jibe at the latter’s fallout with his uncle Govinda which is said to have not landed well.

In their skit when Krushna said, "Chee chee aisi baat nahi karte”, Kiku gave it a comical twist and said, “Chi Chi (Govinda’s nickname) toh aapse baat nahi karte”. Not many episodes befoe this one, Krushna had refused to be a part on an TKSS episode where Govinda was the guest.

Now responding to rumours of a fallout with Kiku after the joke, Krushna in an interview with Hindustan Times said, "There is no fight between me and Kiku. These are all just rumours. I love him, and I absolutely love working with him."

Kiku added further clarity and bust rumours saying, “There is no fight at all, it’s a part of the script yaar.”

He added, "Our final motive is to entertain the audience. That is what we are striving to do. Obviously, scripts are discussed internally before we go on stage. It’s nothing at all which both of us don’t know. We are aware, there’s no chance of anything like that happening.”
