Late Actor Manmeet Grewal’s Wife Was So Devastated That She Had To Be Taken To A Hospital, Reveals Friend Manjit Singh

TV actor Manmeet Grewal’s suicide has made the rest of the nation aware of the problems that TV actors have been facing. He had hanged himself because of debts and shortage of money to even pay a rent of 8500. His friend, Manjit Singh had talked at length about the problems he had been facing. While he is yet to accept the fact that Manmeet is no more, he has been doing everything in his capacity to help the late actor’s wife. In fact, it was with his appeal to the local Gurudwara that she has been sent back to Punjab to her parents’ home. Now, Manjit has opened up about how devastated Manmeet’s wife had been after he passed away.

Talking to TOI, the actor revealed that Manmeet’s wife stared at the fan for days and she had to be even taken to the hospital. He said, “ I have seen Manmeet's wife getting shattered in the last five days. I call her Didi because she ties rakhi to me and she is devastated after Manmeet's death. Manmeet ki wife ko maine paanch din tak usi flat mein, usi pankhe ke niche usko dekhke tadapte hue dekha hai. She got so unwell that I had to take her to the hospital and she had to be admitted in the hospital, but as there is no one to take care of her we had to send her to Punjab. The local Gurudwara committee came forward and helped us. With their help, I have been able to send her to Punjab,"

He also requested the association to come to the aid of the actors and added, “I request the association to please come forward and help actors in such a situation. Manmeet's wife struggled to go to Punjab with Manmeet's remains despite being part of the industry. I request the association to come ahead and help the family of the deceased.”

Well, many actors have come forward after Manmeet’s death to talk about how they have been facing monetary issues. Right from Ashiesh Roy, who wants to be discharged from the hospital despite his critical state to Zaan Khan and Chahat Pandey who are yet to receive the payment for their show Humaari Bahu Silk, stars have opened up about their struggle with money and have sought the help of the association!
