The promo of Alisha Panwar’s new show, Meri Gudiya is here. Alisha Panwar will be seen playing a mom for the first time. But with the promo, we get to see a very different avatar of Alisha. Or would we even see her?

Alisha plays a character who is already dead. Yes, she will play a ghost in the serial. But she is no ordinary ghost; she is also a mother who has returned just for her child. She will stick around her all the time, just like she would always want to have her around. But guess what form she has taken? It’s that of a doll! Ya so basically Meri Gudiya is a serial that would be conceived when someone puts Annabelle/Paapi Gudiyaan alongside the 1991 film Maa and mix them together! Check out the promo here:

Well, what possible twists can this serial have is yet to be seen. Given supernatural shows do supernaturally well and has a very dedicated fan base, this might just work.

Alisha Panwar will be playing a mother for the first time for this serial. Talking about it, she had told Bombay Times, “It’s not new for young actresses to play mom on TV. If the role is important, I don’t think there should be any problem. In order to avoid getting typecast, it is important that you do something different each time.” She will be seen opposite Gaurav Bajaj.”
