    Popular TV actress Leena Acharya succumbed to kidney failure and died in Delhi on Saturday, 21 November. Known prominently for her roles in shows like Seth Ji, Aap Ke Aa Jane Se and Meri Hanikarak Biwi and Class of 2020.

    Leena’s co-star Worship Khanna told ETimes that the actress had been battling health concerns for some time now, “The actress was suffering from kidney ailment for past one and half years. Her mother donated her kidney a while back, but she didn’t survive. I knew she had health issues in 2015. She was surviving on one kidney and working. She had suffered many health ailments in between and in past four months her health had deteriorated a lot. She was an experienced actor and I will remember her forever.”

    The actress’s death was mourned by her Class of 2020 co-star Rohan Mehraa who shared picture with her wrote, “Rest in peace @leena_acharya20 ma’am. Last year this time we were shooting for Class of 2020. Will miss you.”

    Actor Abhishek Gautam took to Facebook and wrote Abhishek Gautam in Hindi,"My good friend and a great artiste Leena Acharya, who would always stand up for others, bid goodbye to this world and I lost a good friend. You will always be missed my friend."
