Mohit Malik Opens Up About Becoming A Father, Reveals He Couldn't Be With Wife Additi During The Birth Of Their Child For THIS Reason

It was yesterday that Mohit Malik and wife Additi welcomed their first child into the world. Needless to say, they are ecstatic about the arrival of BabyMalik, as they are calling him now, and yes, it's a boy for the TV couple. Now, Mohit has opened up about this journey that he has embarked on in a new interview. In fact, he has also revealed that he couldn't be with his wife during her delivery- for this reason.

Talking to HT, Mohit said, “It’s a whole new feeling that I am experiencing. We have a new member, a new friend, another soul with us. Euphoric is the word.”

He then went on to reveal about the moment he became a dad and said, “I couldn’t be with her (wife Additi) because of the Covid-19 set of rules and I also didn’t force because the times are such.” Nevertheless, he recalls the moment when he held the baby in his arms. He says, “My mind was shut. It was a magical moment. Those 8-9 steps I took towards the baby, I don’t even remember. My mind stopped that time. The doctors were congratulating but I was like, sorry what? I was so overwhelmed. Those were the best 15 seconds of my life.”

Talking about welcoming a baby during the pandemic, Mohit said, “It’s all destined. Fear is something we are all living with and it’s like a background music continuously playing. We are accustomed to it now. I think my level of excitement and happiness is way more than the fear right now but we are taking all the necessary measures.” He also added that they will reveal the name of the lil one very soon! We are waiting for that!
