Mohit Malik Quits Kulfi Kumar Bajewala, Makers Yet To Decide What To Do With His Character

Kulfi Kumar Bajewala has been one of the most popular shows on Star Plus ever since it aired. With TRP on an all time high the show has completed 400 episodes already. But after a terrific run, the TRPs are dwindling the makers have been trying to come up with creative ways to keep it afloat. Now, another bad news is here for the fans of Kulfi Kumar Bajewala as the lead actor of the show Mohit Malik has decided to bid farewell.

Mohit who played little Kulfi’s father Sikander on the show has quit according to an India Forum’s report and the makers are already busy planning how to cover up for his absence.

Due to the fall in viewership, the timeslot for the show has already been shifted from 8:30 PM to 6:30 PM and there is certainly going to be a leap in the story with the little Kulfi, Aakriti Sharma reportedly being replaced by actress Tunisha Sharma. The leap could be another reason for Mohit Malik quitting the show, but there has been no confirmation regarding the same from the channel or the actor himself.

Now the makes might just write off Sikander’s character or will have to find a worthy replacement very soon. But till further updates we hope that the show finds its audience back.
