Naagin 5: Dheeraj Dhooper Confirms Being A Part Of The Show, Says He Didn't Think Twice Before Giving His Nod

Finally, we have news on Naagin 5 that isn't a speculation! Ever since Naagin 5 had been announced, rumours on who would play the lead had been doing the rounds. The names of many actors and actresses had come up as the lead of the show, but most of them refuted being a part of it. Now, we have finally got the name of the male lead and it is none other than Dheeraj Dhooper.

Talking to Mumbai Mirror, the actor, who can presently be seen in KKundali Bhagya confirmed the news. He said, “Naagin has emerged as a big brand and I didn’t think twice before giving my nod. I am a fan of the hot Naagin ladies... my favourite part of the show is watching them dance."

He is also pumped up to play a shapeshifter in his next and added, “It’s going to be challenging because I have only played normal, human characters till now. Also, for a VFX-heavy show like Naagin, you have to pretend act with props, which are later enhanced or replaced on the edit table, so that will be new."

We are equally excited to step into the shoes, err, the skin of the Naagin in the fifth installment. Meanwhile, a poster of Hina Khan's look from Naagin 5 seems to be doing the rounds. It had been shared from an unofficial page and we are not sure about its authenticity, but if it turns out to be true, it does look a notch up!
