Naagin 5: Divyanka Tripathi Approached To Play The Naagin? The Actress Clears The Air

Rumours and reports about the casting of Naagin 5 have been doing the rounds for days now. After the news of Naagin 4 going off air was out, fans and media have been speculating about who they might see in the next season, that is supposed to commence pretty soon. Many names have also come up. The most recent reports suggested that Divyanka Tripathi might play the shape-shifter in the upcoming season. Now, the actress herself has cleared the air.

According to some reports, it was said that Divyanka Tripathi is being roped in to play a Naagin in season 5. In fact, it was also said that she will essay a negative role. Asim Riaz and  Kritika Sengar’s names had also cropped up. Fans had been excited with this news. But the actress has something else to say. Taking to her social media account, she dismissed the rumours and clarified that she has not been approached for the role. Here is what she wrote:

Well, now we can give the rumours some rest. In the past few days, names of stars like Shivin Narang, Mahek Chahal, Dipika Kakkar, Paras Chhabra and Hina Khan had come up for the show. However, there has been no confirmation yet on the same!
