Naamkarann actress Anaya Soni pleads for urgent financial help as she requires immediate kidney transplant

In the past one year, we have been brought face-to-face with the grim reality that many TV stars, who we think are well to do, actually might not be so well off. In fact, many celebs had openly pleaded for financial help, especially due to medical emergencies. Now TV actress Anaya Soni has opened up about her financial situation. The actress, who has been a part of several shows like Naamkarann, Adalat and episodes of Saavdhan India and Crime Patrol, is currently hospitalised and requires an urgent kidney transplant.

According to a report in ETimes, only 2% of her kidney is functional. She told the daily, "I have been living on one kidney since 2015. My both kidneys had failed 6 years ago and my father donated a kidney to me. Suddenly, the donated kidney has deteriorated and I need a fresh kidney transplant. I never dreamt of such a situation when I was doing shows like 'Naamkaran' and 'Crime Patrol'."

Talking about the financial strain, she said, "My mom had a garments business. My brother was doing well. Her clothes and his machines got all burnt some time ago when my house caught fire. Sab kuch khatam ho gaya. We are just hand-to-mouth now."

The hospital is currently looking for a donor and dialysis is also yet to begin. We hope she finds help and recovers as soon as possible.
