No Honeymoon For Newlyweds Ssharad Malhotra And Ripci Bhatia For This Reason!

TV actor Ssharad Malhotra, after marrying on-screen for 7-8 times, finally became a married man in real life as well. He tied the knot with Delhi based designer, Ripci Bhatia, on 20^th April. The two had Anand Karaj ceremony in the morning and one following Hindu traditions in the evening.

But looks like the newly-wed will have to wait to spend some quality time together. Ssharad and Ripci are not going for their honeymoon any time soon.

If you are already wondering what can be the reason behind this decision, then let us tell you that it is solely related to Ssharad’s work. Ssharad, who is currently playing the male lead in Muskaan, returned back on the sets to resume work.

The actor took just 3 days break and resumed work after his wedding. He was welcomed on the sets with a cake. Ssharad, while cutting the cake joked that the celebration wasn't for him being married but because everyone's happy to see him back on the sets.

Talking to TOI, the actor had said,

"I can't afford to go on a break. My show airs six days a week and If I take a break, I will be responsible to a lot of people. The producers of my shows have never pressurized me, but I know my responsibilities as a lead actor. I have been around in this industry for long now and they look up to me and they somewhere expect from me to be actively part of the show. I feel I am answerable to myself and I feel at this time my show airs six days a week and I cannot afford to take a break."

Earlier as well, Ssharad had revealed that he and Ripci had not planned anything for their honeymoon. “While I love the hills, Ripci loves the sea. So, we are yet to finalise our honeymoon destination. After the wedding, I’ll be back to work. Maybe, we will plan something in the next few months."
