How many times has it happened with you, or to someone you know that there had been a huge 'scene' at home when parents found out about a person that you were seeing! Well, it has often many a times with young folks of the nation that parents have curbed their independence after knowing that they were dating. And the situation doesn't seem to be different for a lot of celebs as well. At least, it was the same for Nikki Tamboli.

While talking to radio host Sidharth Kannan, Nikki opened up about having a 'possessive boyfriend'. She revealed, “Yeah, I had a possessive boyfriend in my college. But gharwalon ko pata chal gaya tha toh phir mera college jaana bandh kar diya tha (When my family found out, they stopped me from going to college). He was not from my college, he was an outsider. Toh papa kehte the, ‘Yaar, tu college jaati hai padhne, phir bahar ke ladko se teri dosti kaise ho gayi?’ (My father said, ‘You go to college to study, then how did you end up meeting boys from outside?’).”

Nikki was adamant and didn't break up because of this. But we are glad that she was over this 'possessive boyfriend'! Nikki Tamboli became a popular name after her stint in Bigg Boss 14. She was last seen in Khatron Ke Khiladi.
