Nikki Tamboli says she's hasn't come to terms with brother Jatin Tamboli's demise, hasn't even spoken to her mom and dad

Nikki Tamboli took off to Cape Town, South Africa to honour work commitments days after she lost her brother Jatin Tamboli to Covid-19 last month. The Bigg Boss 14 finalist who is shooting for the adventure-based reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 to fulfill her late brother’s dream said that she hasn’t been able to share her grief with anyone, not even her parents.

Talking to Hindustan Times Nikki revealed hasn’t yet been able to come to terms with her brother’s sudden demise. “Mujhe koi mila nahi hai jiske saath mai baith k (I haven’t got anybody with whom I can sit and talk), baat kar sakun. I haven’t even spoken to my mom-dad. I am still in Cape Town, I cannot talk to them,” Nikki said.

“I cannot talk to them about what happened to my brother. (It is because) I know if I become weak in front of them, if I cry in front of them, I do not know what they will feel. I am just trying to accept what happened. I am just letting it go and moving ahead,” she added.

Jatin Tamboli died due to Covid-19 on May 4.  Soon after, Nikki announced her decision to continue with her plans to be a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi because her brother was excited to see her participating. Her pictures from Cape Town where she’s out and about with friends led to a lot of criticism and Nikki didn’t shy away from addressing these trolls.

“Some stupid people are msging me and commenting on my pictures that my brother has just passed away few days back. Don’t you feel shame you are enjoying. So let me tell you idiots that I also have my life, I also deserve to be happy if not for myself for my brother. He loves when I stay happy. And these people who have no work but only have time to comment and spread negativity I would request you to go and achieve your dreams. It will make you and your parents and you loved one’s happy too,” Nikki had written in an Instagram story.
