On Women's Day Siddharth Shukla Credits His Sisters' Ideals For Making Him A Batter Man, Calls Them His 'Heroes'

It’s Women’s Day and actor Siddharth Shukla has only great things to say about growing up with his two sisters and his mother. The Bigg Boss 13 winner whose popularity increased ten folds after he won the controversial reality show hosted by Salman Khan has expressed respect for the women in his life especially his mother.

On the special occasion, the actor while speaking to ETimes spoke about how the ideals he learnt from his sisters made him a better man and said, “I have two elder sisters, and they were my heroes while I was growing up. Their definition of an ideal man is how I always wanted to be. I thought their version of an ideal man was the perfect man and I wanted to be like that. However far I may be from that today, I think I am still a better man because of chasing their ideals. Yes, both my sisters have a huge role to play in the way I think. They made me realise the importance of women and respecting them. So, a lot of my understanding of women has come through my sisters apart from, of course, my mother.”

The actor has always claimed his mother to be his best friend and even credited his career as a model as something his mother pushed him to do. The Balika Vadhu star while talking to Human of Bombay last year revealed how he was always very close to his mother and how she’s always managed to keep him grounded.

On the work front the actor has fans impatient about his digital debut with Broken But Beautiful 3 which he is currently shooting for along with newcomer Sonali Rathee.
