Parth Samthaan Finally Opens Up About Why He Quit Kasautii Zindagii Kay

It was last year in October that fans got a big jhatka when then came to know that Kasautii Zindagii Kay is going off air. It was one of the most popular shows, loved by one and all. The reason was Parth Samthaan, who quit the show and producer Ekta Kapoor decided not to replace him but end the show altogether. There have been many rumours surrounding the reason why Parth took this step. Now, he has finally broken his silence and opened up about it:

In an interview with Abhishek Khan, the actor said that it was only because he reaches a saturation point easily. He said, “As it was near to two years, it was my decision to fall out of it because I am an actor who reaches a saturation point very easily. I cannot be an actor who does the same sort of character for the next four to five years, even if it is going good or the show is number one.” He also added that he was happy with his character but “it became monotonous. If you push it more than a year, it becomes monotonous, because you have explored all the stories and character shades in that one year. Now, what can you give more? It is just repetitive.”

Kasautii went off air last year in October and rumours were doing the rounds that it was because Parth wanted to focus on his career in Bollywood and his debut film.
