Payal Rohatgi arrested in Ahmedabad for allegedly threatening to kill her society's chairperson, abusing residents

Former Bigg Boss contestant Payal Rohatgi is facing prison time after allegedly abusing the Chairperson of the society where she stays. According to a Zee News report the actress has been arrested in Ahemdabad for abusing the chairperson and also using obscene language. Payal allegedly also threatened other members of the society with false cases.

A doctor Parag Shah who resides in the same society filed the complaint against Payal.  He alleged that she threatened and abused the society chairperson on social media and has been using derogatory language in the society WhatsApp group. The post Payal had shared where she abused her society chairperson was later deleted by her.

The actress apparently quarreled with members of the society frequently and even threatened to kill the chairperson. She reportedly showed up at a society meeting and abused society members present when asked not to speak since she wasn’t a member on June 20. The actress is also said to have gotten into fights over kids playing in the society.

Before news of her arrest became know Payal had posted a video where she’s worshipping Lord Shiva. Her caption read: "I know I am being used to fulfil an agenda by certain people who themselves don’t want to do the dirty work, but I am going with the flow even though I know I am being trapped as God has a plan for me which none of these powerful people can even touch. Om Namah Shivay (sic).”
