Pooja Banerjee Replaces Naina Singh To Play Sriti And Shabbir's Daughter In Kumkum Bhagya; Would Juggle Between This And Kasautii

Pooja Banerjee has been having a good year so far. She has been playing the character of Nivedita Basu in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Apart from that, her web-series Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai 3 also released recently. Now, the actress is all set to enter Kumkum Bhagya after replacing Naina Singh.

Pooja will now play a teenager, Rhea, in Kumkum Bhagya. Yes, she would be seen as Sriti and Shabbir's daughter in the show! She would also have to juggle between Kasautii Zindagii Kay and Kumkum. Talking about it, she told ETimes, "I was apprehensive initially, but fortunately, the sets of both the shows are located next to each other and I don’t have to travel at all. Even my make-up artist and room will continue to be the same. It will be mainly about changing the costumes. So, I don’t have to take extra precautions.”

Talking about playing a 19-year-old, she said, "I think I look younger than my age, so that won’t be a problem. Also, Sriti and Shabbir are relatively older than my age group, so playing the part won’t be a problem. I will be essaying negative roles in both the shows and they will give me a lot of scope to perform.”
