Pracheen Chauhan on molestation charges against him says, "obviously it's a false case"; Claims he'll reveal the real story soon

Kasautii Zindagi Kay actor Pracheen Chauhan has responded to the allegations of molesting a 22-year-old girl for which has was also arrested by the Mumbai Police. The actor who has now been granted bail after appearing before the Borivali Court on Saturday has claimed that the allegations against him are untrue.

Pracheen was taken into custody after a 22-year-old woman who also works in the television industry filed a complaint against him for touching her inappropriately after getting drunk when he had invited her and a friend home on June 30.

The actor said told the portal, "I don't want to talk about the matter right now as I am devastated and I need to speak to my lawyer also before I comment on the matter. For now, I can just say obviously it's a false case and I will be telling the real story very soon by releasing an official statement."

Talking about the accusations by the girl he added, "When I have the whole clarity on it, I will tell what is the true story."

The news of Pracheen’s arrest came on Friday after he was taken into custody by the Malad East Police. On Saturday, a senior police inspector from the station confirmed he had been granted bail.
