Rashami Desai Says She Carries 'Own Thermometer, Oximeter, And A Blood Pressure Machine' To Work As Shoots Resume

Rashami Desai has resumed work and how after the lockdown. The actress had joined the cast of Naagin 4 right after her stint in Bigg Boss 13. She was playing the character called Shalakha and within a few weeks, shoots were closed due to the nationwide lockdown. Now that the country has entered phase Unlock, shoots have resumed too. Naagin 4 was one of the firsts to begin shoot again and Rashami also did a short film called Tamas in between!

Talking about shooting amid the corona scare, she revealed that though she had been joking about it at the beginning, she realised the gravity of the situation! In an interview with Bollywood Hungama, she spoke about shooting with the threat of contracting the novel virus and said, "You’re risking your life and you’re dealing with a major threat. Now, we’re not scared of being mugged or murdered, but we’re more scared of Coronavirus. Initially, we were joking about it that someone might just enter my vanity and kill me, no one would even find out. But then on the third day of the shoot, we realized that this is not something we can make fun of and we started taking it seriously. So, I’ve started carrying my own thermometer, oximeter, and a blood pressure machine. I ensure to keep myself sanitized during the day. Because, it’s not just about me, it’s about me being responsible for others, too. I don’t want to take the risk, it’s very scary.”

TV world has not been spared from the virus! Earlier, Mohena Kumari had tested positive for the novel virus in Dehradun. Later, Parth Samthaan tested positive on Tuesday and Shrenu Parikh was hospitalised after testing positive for COVID-19 in Vadodara on Wednesday.
