Saath Nibhaana Saathiya prequel gets a title, Gia Manek's character to be called Gopika?

The reports on Saath Nibhana Saathiya prequel have been doing the rounds for weeks now and there had been claims that the show is all set to start rolling, but was halted because of Rupal Patel's health. Looks like now it would roll shortly. In fact, it has now gotten a title of its own.

According to a report in ETimes, the SNS prequel would be called Tera Mera Saath Rahe. A source revealed, “The show has been titled finally. The names of the characters are different because it’s a new show with a different story. The shoot is expected to commence by the end of July and the show will hit the tube by the end of next month or in the first week of September. We are in the process of finalising everything so that the show can go on floors as per the schedule.”

Gia Manek would play a character named Gopika now and Mohammad Nazim would return as her husband. Earlier, when Gia Manek was asked whether she would be a part of the show, she had replied, “I have a few projects in hand. Destiny will decide which one I will choose. As of now, I can't comment on this. If everything gets confirmed then I will be happy to share the good news. And it could be any show.”
