Salman Khan Cuts Off Ties With Bigg Boss After A Decade Due To Channel Making Sidharth Shukla Winner?

Bigg Boss 13 might be over but the controversies surrounding the show are certainly not. Sidharth Shukla lifted the winner’s trophy on Saturday evening and the fact made the speculations that the reality show was rigged even stronger. Now, news is that host Salman Khan too wasn’t all too pleased by the makers rooting for Shukla and after a 10 year run with Bigg Boss the superstar will not return for the next season.

We know that Bigg Boss 14 is still far way and makers have enough time to convince the actor otherwise but his exit will certainly leave a big void, one that would be hard to fill with any other host.

A source close to Pinkvilla revealed, “Salman Khan felt that the channel was a bit biased towards Sidharth Shukla throughout the season. The superstar was left angry after the channel decided to pick Sidharth as the winner. The shoot was in fact delayed post this (the reason why the winner announcement happened post 12:00 AM). However, Salman has now made it clear to the channel that he won’t be a part of the show any longer."

If this is indeed true then that also makes the news of Bigg Boss 13 being rigged more believable. An employee of Colors also announced that she quit her job with the channel over them pushing for Sidharth Shukla’s win. On Twitter, Feriha wrote, "I have decided to quit my job at @ColorsTV. I had a tremendous time working with the creative department but I can't demean myself being part of a fixed show. The channel is keen on making Siddharth Shukla the Winner despite less votes. Sorry, I can't be part of it."

Sidharth Shukla was up against Asim Riaz in the finale, while other finalists including Rashami Desai, Shehnaaz Gill, Paras Chhabra and Arti Singh were eliminated before them.
