Sasural Simar Ka Actor Manish Raisinghan To Tie The Knot With Sangeeta Chauhan In 5 Days

'Chat mangni, phat Shaadi' is a phrase that many of us have grown up hearing. It's given to those who decide to get married in a flash. TV actor Manish Raisinghan seems to be very inspired by this phrase. He is now taking it a notch higher as well. He has decided to get married to girlfriend Sangeeta Chauhan and guess what, he will be tying the knot in 5 days!

Yes, you read that right. Manish and Sangeeta will be getting married on 30th June! He decided one fine morning that he can get married, called up Sangeeta, made their parents speak over a video con call and finally decided a date too. Speaking to Spotboye about it, the actor said, "It may surprise you but the decision of getting married to each other was taken in a day. During this whole lockdown, I was extremely busy with my song and one day at the breakfast table, I told my father I am planning to take a day off today and in a quirky way he said, 'off le raha hai to shaadi bhi karle.' It was a joke but it hit my mind. I instantly called Sangeeta and said let's get married, tell your parents to speak to my parents and she was shocked and said, 'Achanak se kaise baat karu? Things don't happen like this' but I convinced her and said let's make them meet on Zoom call today at 4 and she somehow agreed. They met via the video call and discussed things and by evening the wedding date was also zeroed down."

The wedding will happen in a Gurudwara in Andheri. Only 5 people will attend the wedding, and even the duos parents would not be physically present at the venue. Manish explained, "My mom doesn't keep well and I don't want to risk her health by taking her out in this pandemic. Similarly, Sangieta's parents are also old and hence we decided that we will go ahead without their presence. Will get married, come home, and take their blessings. They also agreed to the decision."

Manish had been linked to his Sasural Simar ka co-star, Avika Gor for a very long time. The duo had collaborated for other projects too. His relationship with Sangeeta was always lowkey. Sangeeta too was earlier married to a man named Chirag Shah and the two separated in 2017 after the latter went missing post a heated argument, only to emerge later. Speaking about their love story, the actor quipped, "We had done a show together called Swabhiman Ek Shingaar but never interacted much. Later there was a party at Suchitra Pillai ma'am's house, where we met again and started talking to each other. Then we become good friends, best friends and then a couple. It's been a year and half that we are dating but before that, it was just friendship which gradually got converted into love."
