Shehnaaz Gill's Father Says He Was Embarrassed After She Refused To Meet His Friends, Asks People Not To Make It A Big Deal

Shehnaaz Gill’s recent work trip to Punjab took a controversial turn after her father Santohkh Singh in an interview declared that he’s upset with the Bigg Boss 13 star and vowed that he’d never talk to her again. His statement came after he claimed that Shehnaaz who recently travelled to Chandigarh didn’t even visit home once despite being just two hours away and even refused to get clicked with some of his friends adding to his embarrassment.

After his statement made big headlines, with some reports going so far as to claim that Santokh Singh didn’t even have Shehnaaz’s manager’s number, he has now retracted his statement and put out a video saying that he was upset when he said he won’t speak to his daughter again. Explaining his stand in the video Santokh Singh said that he was angry when Shehnaaz refused to meet a few of his friends who supported her during her stay in the Bigg Boss house.

Saying that he had committed to a few of his friends kids’ that he would make them meet Shhenaaz when she came to Punjab, it upset him when she outright refused to met them. Santokh who was most vocal in his support for his daughter during the show added that all said and done he loves Shehnaaz and can’t remain angry at her for long.

Santokh Singh also busted reports saying he doesn’t have contacts of Shehnaaz’s aides and asked everyone not to blow the whole matter out of proportion.

Shehnaaz Gill who had visited Chandigarh recently to shoot for an upcoming project with Sidharth Shukla has now returned to Mumbai.
