Shweta Tiwari's Allegations Of Assault Against Estranged Husband Abhinav Kohli Catch NCW's Attention

Shweta Tiwari and Abhinav Kohli’s rather public fallout over the custody of their four year old son Reyansh has now caught the attention of the National Commission for Women (NCW). This comes after the Kasautti Zindagii Kay actress shared CCTV footage from her society on social media where Abhinav can be seen tackling his wife, who is carrying their son in her arms, to the ground and walking after picking up his son.

The actress claimed in her now deleted post that their son is scared of his father and did not sleep at night for nearly a month after the incident. While the footage has no sound and Abhinav has a different story to tell, the NCW has now approached the Maharashtra DGP to take action in accordance with the law.

Commenting on the matter a tweet from the commission read: “@NCWIndia is perturbed by this reported incident and has taken cognizance of the matter. Chairperson @sharmarekha has written to DGP Maharashtra asking to immediately into the matter and take appropriate action in accordance with the law.”

Shweta and Abhinav separated in 2019 after the actress filed a case of harassment against him. She is currently away shooting for Khatron Ke Khiladi 11 in Cape Town and Abhinav had upon her departure recently claimed that she abandoned their son in a hotel room to participate on the show.
