    Sidharth Shukla had thanked fans for always protecting him on social media in one of his last tweets

    Sidharth Shukla’s sudden demise has left the entertainment industry in a state of shock. The actor was just 40 and died of a heart attack on the morning of September 2, 2021. He was taken to the Cooper Hospital in Mumbai by his family where he was declared dead on arrival said the senior doctor.

    Known for his strong persona, Sidharth who amassed millions of followers after his stint on Bigg Boss 13 had on Rakshabandhan thanked all his fans for being there for him and protecting him on social media while wishing them on the festival in August. “Happy Rakshabandhan to all …… thank you all for protecting me on social media and being there for me always,” he had written. Sidharth often took time from his busy schedule to interact with his fans and was fiercely protective of them too.

    In his last tweet on August 30, he had congratulated Paralympics sports stars Avani Lekhara and Sumit Antil on their win in Tokyo. “Indians making us proud over and over again… a World Record in addition to the #Gold in #Paralympics … congratulations #SumitAntil and #AvaniLekhara” Sidharth wrote.

    The actor had also commented on the Afghanistan crisis after the Taliban took over the country on August 15. In a tweet, he had lauded the women of the country and said, “Hats off to the women of Afghanistan for standing up for themselves….”

    Sidharth Shukla was last seen on TV as a guest with Shehnaaz Gill on Bigg Boss OTT and the dance reality show Dance Deewane.
