Sidharth Shukla suspected to have died in his sleep, police waiting for post mortem report to ascertain: Reports

Sidharth Shukla’s died on Thursday and the entertainment industry has been in mourning since the news broke. The actor was declared dead on arrival at the Cooper Hospital in Mumbai where his post mortem is being conducted. While he is said to have suffered a heart attack, according to reports coming in the actor is suspected to have passed away in his sleep according to police sources.

The 40-year old-actor was rushed to the hospital by his family on Thursday morning. The Juhu Police were alerted as Sidharth was declared dead while later the Oshiwara Police took over the investigation in the case as the actor is suspected to have died at his residence in the area, according to a report on The Free Press Journal.

Sidharth’s family’s statements were recorded in the case along with that of his acquaintances and eyewitnesses. Based on what is revealed to them so far, the police suspect that the Dil Se Dil Tak actor had died in his sleep but is waiting for the post mortem report from Cooper Hospital to ascertain this.

The family of the deceased has told the police that they suspect no foul play while also revealing that Sidharth was under no mental pressure. The late actor’s funeral is likely to be held on Friday.
