Sugandha Mishra- Sanket Bhonsle Had Earlier Planned To Get Married In December, Reveal They Will Host A Reception In Mumbai Later

Sugandha Mishra and Sanket Bhosle are all set to tie the know in just a few days. The duo, who have appeared in The Kapil Sharma Show together, will have all their pre-wedding festivities, as well as the wedding itself on 26th April. Given the current situation, it would be an extremely intimate affair attended by only a few members of their families. Now, the duo have opened up about each other, on how they fell in love and about the wedding in a recent interview. In fact, they also joked that even if they have to get married online, they will do so.

Talking to ETimes, the couple credited the media for their relationship. Sugandha joked, “The media had a crucial role to play in our relationship. There were several articles about us even before we started dating. We actually gave it a serious thought about a year ago and decided, why not? We make a good jodi.”

Sugandha also recalled how she fell in love and revealed, “We first met while shooting for a comedy show in Dubai seven years ago. Eventually, we became friends and started getting offers to work together. Dheere dheere comfort level badh gaya. So, when we thought about marriage, we decided that what better than having each other as partners in our lives. Sanket is family-oriented, caring, understanding and open-minded.”

Talking about Sugandha, Sanket said, “Sugandha has been a driving force for me and I realised that my life would be incomplete without her. She is selfless and helps people readily. I have been witness to her opting out of projects to make way for someone else. We are similar when it comes to comedy and are averse to vulgar or adult humour.”

They also added that they had initially been planning to get married last year in December, but deferred it due to the COVID-19 crisis. However, with the re-emergence, is the plan still on? Sugandha said, “Just when we started making arrangements and preparations for the wedding, the country was struck by the second wave of COVID-19. We contemplated for long, whether we should go ahead with the plan. We finalised the venue only a couple of days ago. To be honest, aisi situation aa gayi thi ki hamein online shaadi karni padti. I said online bhi karne pade main toh lehenga wohi pehnungi.”

We are eagerly waiting for the pictures from this wedding! All the best to the couple for their wedding!
