Taarak Mehta Actor Mandar Chandwadkar Tests Negative For COVID-19, Reveals When He Will Be Back On The Show

It has been close to two weeks since Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashma's Aatmaram Tukaram Bhide, Mandar Chandwadkar had tested positive for the novel coronavirus. He was one of those who contracted the virus after the new wave and surge in the number of cases. The actor had also revealed that he had been quarantining at home. Now, there's a good news for his fans. The actor has finally tested negative for the virus.

Talking to Pinkvilla, Mandar has revealed that his latest COVID test results have come negative. He said, "I am still at home, did my tests three days back and tested negative as expected.”

So, when will he be back on the sets of the show. The actor informs, “At present there is one story that’s going on, once that ends I’ll resume with my track. At least till Thursday, they have their schedule ready, and then maybe from Friday or Saturday I’ll join again. The production team has been very helpful. Even after COVID you have some weakness in your body, which one can’t make out until and unless you work. So I requested the production to give me at least 4-5 more days to rest it out, which they graciously accepted and asked me to join once I feel better."
