    Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah writer Abhishek Makwana has died by suicide. The 37-year-old was riddled by financial and personal problems according to a suicide note left behind by him. He was found hanging in his Kandivali based apartment in Mumbai on November 27.

    The matter is now being investigated by the police while the writer’s family has claimed that he was a victim of cyber fraud and blackmailing. They allege that even after Abhishek’s demise they continued to receive calls from fraudsters demanding money. The statements of the family have been recorded by the Charkop police where

    According to an ETimes report, the police found a suicide note where Abhishek apologized to his family for being unable to fight and said that the troubles for him were just mounting up. He stated personal and financial issues as the reason for his death.

    The police is now looking through phone records to retrieve the numbers from which the deceased received fraudulent calls and is also look at bank details for transaction details. The police source tells the publication that no concrete evidence of fraud has been found so far and it is yet to be established that the caller was harassing the deceased. Once the evidence has been found the police will proceed with necessary actions.
