Tannaz Irani Says She Was Dropped From Apna Time Ayega Through A 'Random Call'; Reveals It Wasn't Even Discussed With Her

Tannaz Irani was a very important part of the Tv show, Apna Time Ayega. In fact, hers was a pivotal character in the show. However, fans were disappointed to learn that she would no longer be a part. Now, Tannaz herself has opened up about it.

Talking to a leading daily, Tannaz revealed that due to the current situation, the makers had been planning to shoot the show in Goa. She said, “The production house texted everyone, enquiring whether we would be available to shoot, but without mentioning other details like accommodation and duration of the stay. I told them that I was not sure about travelling, but was open to a discussion. However, there was no discussion.”

She revealed that while she had her own reservations about it because she has two children at home, she wasn't completely averse to the idea. However, all she wanted was a discussion before the decision was made. However, she was shocked when she was informed about being dropped through a random call. She added, “It was a random call; they told me that I was required to shoot every day, as my character is pivotal. They went on to add that they have thought it through and since I can’t travel to Goa, they are replacing me. I am shocked and confused. If something like this can happen with a senior artiste like me, I can only imagine the state of newcomers. I have been replaced and I can’t do anything about it.”
