The Kapil Sharma Show's return pushed from July to August, here's when the new season will air

The Kapil Sharma Show has been off the air for a few months now and the fans are anxious for its return which has already been prolonged due to the second wave of the covid-19 pandemic. The comedy show featuring some of television's best comics was touted to make its return on TV in July but looks like the fans might have to wait a bit longer for the show.

While comedian Krushna Abhishek and Bharti Singh have already confirmed that the show’s return in previous interviews, reports were suggesting that July 25 has been set as the date for the new season’s release.  According to a TellyChakkar report, however, the plan to release The Kapil Sharma Show in July has now been pushed and the new release date of the show has been set as 21 August.

The comedy show will mark the return of Kapil Sharma, Kiku Sharma, Archana Puran Singh, Shumona Chakraborty, Chandan Prabhakar, Bharti Singh and Krushna Abhishek. Reports have also been rife that a few new talents will also be introduced on the show which is all set to get a new format.

Reportedly, with the new season, comedian Kapil Sharma is also getting a big pay hike and will be taking home Rs. 1 crore per week instead of getting Rs. 60 lakhs he charged for the previous season.
