Three Contestants From Nagarjuna Akkineni's Bigg Boss 4 Telugu Test Positive For COVID-19 Days Before The Premiere: Reports

Many might have thought that a reality show format like Bigg Boss might not be a possibility during the times of the coronavirus pandemic as several celebrities are required to live together under one roof for several months and the concept feels rather risky. Well, the makers made the bold decision of bringing back the reality with the Telugu version hosted by Nagarjuna Akkineni ready to premiere just 6 days later in this week.

Reports from Tollywood.net suggest that all of the 16 contestants shortlisted to go inside the Bigg Boss house were put under 14 days mandatory quarantine and now three have tested positive. While there is no official confirmation from the makers of the show it has been reported that YouTube star Milkuri Gangavva of My Village is one of them.

Bigg Boss 4 team is said to have already approached three replacements after this setback in the very week of the premiere.

Nagarjuna Akkineni is returning as the host for the second time after his debut in the previous season. The show has gained major popularity after the Telugu star’s name got attached to the show.

Meanwhile the Hindi counterpart Bigg Boss 14 is line up with Salman Khan as the host for a premiere in October.
