TV Actor Abhimanyu Chaudhary Arrested For Assaulting Salon Employee

TV actor Abhimanyu Chowdhury with a couple of his other friends was recently arrested for a salon brawl that went terribly out of hand.  According to reports, a female friend of Chaudhary was at the salon and called him after an allegedly touched her inappropriately. The woman called up Abhimanyu, who reached the salon with a few other friends and attacked the employee with a knife. The salon employee called the police who arrested Abhimanyu and his friends on spot.

Abhimanyu and his friends have been arrested under Sections  354, 324 and 326 and if proven guilty may be in for significant jail time.

Abhimanyu recently made headlines when a while back he was in the running for Anurag’s role in Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Even though that did not pan out, he went on to bag the role of the main antagonist in the serial Manmohini. Interestingly, Abhimanyu has also worked with the likes of Amitabh Bachchan and Dhanush in the film Shamitabh.
