    TV Actor Manas Shah Sells Off His Car To Tackle Financial Crisis, Has Also Vacated His Rented House

    The cast and crew of Humari Bahu Silk has been in a financial crisis and it had been made worse by the ongoing lockdown. The cast, including Zaan Khan and Chahat Pandey have opened up about how they had not been paid at all, even though the show ran for seven months and went off air back in May. In fact, Zaan had also revealed how Chahat Pandey had been having suicidal thoughts due to monetary crisis. Now, another actor from the show, Manas Shah revealed his ordeal.

    The actor, who has also worked in shows like Humari Devrani and Shankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman, is the sole earner from her gar family, after his father retired from his bank job some years back. He revealed that he had to sell off his car and move from his rented apartment to sustain himself. In an interview, he said, “"This is the first time that I'm facing such a challenging situation. I'm facing a big financial crisis. I had to sell my car for survival. I also had to leave my rented house and shift with my cousin in Lokhandwala. I have my parents to look after in my hometown Ahmedabad. My dad is retired after serving in a bank for years"

    He had also been appealing to everyone through his social media profile and has said that JD Majethia has come to the aid of the cast and crew of Humari Bahu Silk. The lockdown has revealed how so many actors from the Tv industry had been facing a financial crisis. Manmeet Grewal committed suicide after he was unable to pay his rent!
