Yeh Rishtaa Kya Kehlata Hai Fame Kanchi Singh Tests Positive For COVID-19, Isolates And Home Quarantines Herself

The nation is seeing the fourth wave of corona and the number of people testing positive is seeing a sharp rise since the last few weeks. Mumbai has been affected and so has the big and the small screen industry. Bollywood and TV celebs are testing positive every day. Now, yet another TV actress has tested positive. It is Yeh Rishtaa Kya Kehlata Hai fame actress Kanchi Singh.

Kanchi, who played Gayu in the show and has been prepping up for her Bollywood debut, had taken to her social media to share the news. The actress wrote, "Unfortunately, I have tested positive for Covid-19.I have isolated myself and am in home quarantine. I am following all the safety protocols. To all of you out there, take care, stay safe and truly don't step out if you don't have to! It's time we come together by staying indoors and fight this virus! Love, Kanchi". See the post here:

Kanchi had revealed few weeks back that she had been absent from TV because she was prepping up for her Bollywood debut. Talking to ETimes last month, she had said, “I left my show to get into Bollywood and that is happening now after three' and-a-half years. I will start shooting for it in the end of this month in Bhopal. I am glad that I'm returning to acting with a movie; my excitement levels are touching the sky right now.” We hope that Kanchi recovers soon.
