Yeh Ristey Hai Pyaar Ke To Get Its Second Season By Next Year?

TV is witnessing some of the biggest shows going off air. While the news of Kasautii being discontinued was enough to make fans sad, when Rajan Shahi said that Yeh Ristey Hai Pyaar Ke would also be going off air, it was heartbreaking. The show featuring Rhea Sharma and Shaheer Sheikh was loved by one and all. But there's a silver lining. The maker has said that he would bring a season 2 to it soon.

According to a report in Pinkvilla, the main reason for the show to be discontinued was the dip in TRPs. A source said, "Low TRPs is one of the major reasons behind YRHPK going off off air. With IPL and then Bigg Boss and KBC coming in, it was mutually agreed that the scope for improvement of TRP is much lesser. Hence, it was decided that the show will be pulled off air for now. However, they have discussed the possibility of returning with a Season 2, perhaps next year."

Earlier too, in an interview with TOI, Rajan Shahi had said, "‘YRHPK’ has been all about optimism and positivity. It has enjoyed a good run and we have created some great memories. The show has become a brand and you never know, we might reunite later.”

The show would be replaced by Saath Nibhana Saathiya 2.
