Fraud Saiyyan's Chamma Chamma Will Give You Another Reason To Detest Remixes!

Fraud Saiyyan's Chamma Chamma Will Give You Another Reason To Detest Remixes!

Nobody knows when the trend of remixing had started in Bollywood, but for the last 2-3 years, it has really caught on. We all know the format of a typical Bollywood remix- you'll have the song distorted with the music given a more 'hip' touch, there would be a rap that would be added in between like garam masala. There is another factor that has also been added- most of the times it would be composed by Tanisk Bagchi. While the man is an amazing composer who has composed the music for songs for Bareily Ki Barfi, Subh Mangal Saavdhan and Badhaai Ho, he has also done the unforgivable remixes like Humma. Now he has added one more to the list with Chamma Chamma.

To cut it short, the song is just unbearable and might just make your ears and eyes bleed. When we think of Chumma Chumma, we can think of a very elegant Urmila Matondkar making us sway with her moves. But in Fraud Saiyyan's version of the song, there's Elli Avram, who is just trying to dance it sexily out there with multiple visuals of her at some frames.

Well, to make matters worse, there are some English words replacing the original lyrics like "Tere 'close' ayu teri sansoon me samayu raja", and of course, one of the worst raps put in between as well.

The whole point is, what was the need for this remix? Has Bollywood hit such low that we can't come up with anything original? Also, it is really necessary to ruin the good old songs?
