Husn Parcham Will Make Sure That Zero's Flag Fly The Highest This Year

Husn Parcham Will Make Sure That Zero's Flag Fly The Highest This Year

As the release date of Zero is coming close, our excitement is reaching new heights every day. After delivering to back to back winners, the team of Zero has dropped their third song Husn Parcham.  The Anand L Rai directorial is bringing the trio of Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma on scree after Jab Tak Hai Jaan and the much-hyped film is going to hit the theaters on 21st December 2018.

Filmed on Katrina Kaif’s character Babita Kumari, the song has the signature hotness of Katrina and of course, her killer moves. Here are the takeaways from what Shah Rukh Khan has claimed to be the ‘most sizzling song of the year.’

    Katrina Sizzles and How

Husn Parcham Will Make Sure That Zero's Flag Fly The Highest This Year

No one can match Katrina when it comes to glamorous dance numbers and she does not disappoint this either. The woman looks super duper hot and just total justice to the peppy number. Interestingly, Katrina has reportedly had 50 costume changes in the song. The lyrics and swag of the song does complete justice to her movie star persona that she is carrying in the film.

    Bauua’s Madness For Babita Kumari

Husn Parcham Will Make Sure That Zero's Flag Fly The Highest This Year

The song comes at a point in the movie where Bauua is having his haldi ceremony. As Zeeshan Ayyub comes and informs Bauua Babita Kumari visiting a nearby mall, he leaves his haldi ceremony in between to go to catch a glimpse of her. Although Katrina is the one singing praises to her own beauty in the song, it is really the madness of Bauua for Babita Kumari that is being showcased in the song.

    Major Aslam-E-Ishqum Vibes

Husn Parcham Will Make Sure That Zero's Flag Fly The Highest This Year

Sung by Bhumi Trivedi of ‘ Ram Chahe Leela’ fame with international rapper Raja Kumari doing the rap portion the song has been composed by Ajay-Atul. The music uses subtle usage of a middle eastern sound initially, but the rest of the music is a classic peppy club number. However, the music and even the settings a little bit might remind you of Aslam-E-Ishqum from Gunday. Also, in the end, the sudden drum beats, in the end, is a subtle reminder of Chikni Chameli.

    Seems Like A Collage

Although the song cannot be called an item number technically, it has all the trappings of being one. The settings especially look like a collage of many songs. At least three songs we were instantly reminded of were Baby Doll from Ragini MMS2, Lovely from Happy New Year and Mashallah from Ek Tha Tiger.

Anand L Rai Being Anand L Rai

Husn Parcham Will Make Sure That Zero's Flag Fly The Highest This Year

The song ends on a note which is so typically Anand L Rai. The song ends with Bauua shouting, ‘Le Aa Tere Teeno Khan,  Yehi Hoon Meri Jaan’ which gives a subtle reference to Katrina working with the Khan triumvirate of Bollywood in Thugs of Hindostan (Aamir Khan), Zero (Shah Rukh Khan) and the upcoming Bharat (Salman Khan). This is such an amazing and layered reference!
