Loveratri Trailer Looks Like A Of Stale Romance With A Side Of Over Enthusiastic Garba

Loveratri Trailer Looks Like A Of Stale Romance With A Side Of Over Enthusiastic Garba

The trailer of Ayush Sharma and Warina Hussain starrer Loveratri is here. The film directed by Abhiraj Minawala who is making his debut with Loveratri has tried to serve a romantic story from the small town of Baroda in the backdrop of the magical and gorgeous festival of Navaratri and garba. With two debutantes and a lot, like literally a lot of garba.

Here is what we thought about the Loveratri trailer which looked like a stale romance served with a side of over-enthusiastic garba.

That Is Just Too Much Garba

So we get it that Gujarat loves its Garba and the story is about a garba-teacher, which is a very specific profession anyway, but that is just too much Garba. While dance is usually the punctuation in most films, the trailer of Loveratri looks like it is a dance show punctuated by a little film in between. Sushruth played by Ayush Sharma literally breaks into garba every 20 seconds of the trailer and we are sure the film is not going to be any different. I mean the guy dances in Navratri, on the roof, in what looks like an office and even in the middle of a busy street in London. I mean I get it that this film is about Garba, now stop, will you?

What’s With the School Play Level Acting

Salman Khan’s brother-in-law Ayush Sharma and Afghani and Iraqi model Warina Hussain is making a debut with the film and the only thing impressing us about them is Warina’s super chic ethnic wardrobe and the striking resemblance of her voice with that of  Janhvi Kapoor and as for Garba boy Ayush Sharma, well we liked his heavily contoured face, I guess. Their acting chops are akin to those of kids in a school play and they have also made seasoned actors such as Ram Kapoor and Ronit Roy play some stereotypical character with gestures that were dated even in the 90s.

Salman Khan Is The Only One Who Understands The Meaning Of Family Production

So let us count the number of Khan family members associated with the film. There is of course ‘jamai raja’ Ayush Sharma, we spotted Arbaaz and Sohail Khan in the end of the trailer, Salma Khan is the producer of the film and it is made under Salman Khan home production banner. In Bollywood, if someone gets the meaning of family production in its true sense.

    Foot Tapping Garba Tune

The only good thing about the trailer is the killer garba music going on in the background, but that cannot be added to the credit of the film as the tune is one of the most popular garba tunes
