    After the spectacular trailer, the first song of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s mega project Padmavati is out. The song is called ‘Ghoomar’ which is a Rajasthani folk dance, performed by Deepika Padukone aka Ranisa in front of her husband Shahid Kapoor aka Maharawal Ratan Singh.

    The visuals as usual are spectacular because there’s no surprise that it comes from SLB where every frame is perfect. The set however is a complete déjà vu and reminds us of Ram Leela’s Nagade Sang Dhol and Bajirao Mastani’s Pinga.

    Clad in a heavy lehnga and loads of jewels, Deepika Padukone’s attempt at Ghoomar is fantastic. She being a non-dancer has pulled it off beautifully with a lot of grace.
