Airlift is a film which emphasises on the evacuation of 1,70,000 Indians who were stranded in Kuwait after the country was invaded by Iraq in the year 1990. The invasion left the people in Kuwait homeless and the on people they could look up to were the people of their own country. While Argo has a similar subject but a different story. It talks about the rescue operation of six Americans who were held hostage during the U.S. hostage crisis in Tehran.
