'24' Crosses 24 Mark

Suriya’s mega project 24 has completed another feet as it completes its 24 days promising run at the box office today. Vikram Kumar’s film has achieved nothing less than a landmark, when it enters into 25^th day tomorrow in various parts of Chennai. The most interesting thing about its long run is that new Tamil flicks get released every week and despite of that the it has been retained in several theatres.

The sci-fi flick has kept its net profitable at every parts of the region and has joined the Rs 100 crore club as well. A huge credit needs to be given to director Vikram Kumar's outstanding script. However, one has to appreciate Suriya acting skills for impeccably portraying three different characters in the movie with so much charm.  

The actor was particularly appreciated for playing Atthreya, a negative character. Moreover, Oscar laureate A. R. Rahman's scintillating background scores and Tirru's fantastic camera work equally contributed to the success of the flick. The lead female characters were played by Samantha and Nithya Menen, luring audiences with their sheer grace.
